League Description:
The BNTA (Bloomington Normal Tennis
Association) leagues are open to all tennis players in the Bloomington -
Normal Area. These leagues generally run in the summer early June through
early August. Any person who wishes to participate just fills out the form
to sign up and will be placed on a team. Currently there are 4 women's teams
and 3 men's teams. Each team plays 3 courts of doubles during a match. Teams
are created by randomly picking names that have been separated into different
ratings levels thereby keeping a competitive balance amongst the teams.
The BNTA league is non-sanctioned, therefore no need to obtain a USTA membership.
Generally costs around 10$ or less. For more information, please contact
one of our league presidents or captains.
