In November 2001 the BNTA(Bloomington Normal Tennis Association) signed an affiliation agreement with the CFMC(Community Foundation of McLean County). CFMC changed their name to IPCF in 2004
By affiliating with IPCF, our BNTA can use the 501 (C) (3) tax status of IPCF.
Therefore, anyone wishing to make a contribution to the BNTA can make a tax-deductible donation. Here are the steps to follow:
501 (c) (3) federal status --- and Donations to BNTA
Both individuals and corporations are able to make tax-deductible contributions to the BNTA. The donations need to be made directly to IPCF, with a designation of the BNTA account. However, the entire donation would be available to the BNTA. If you wish to donate, write a check to IPCF with a note (BNTA fund). If you wish to make a donation for a specific BNTA activity, please send a corresponding memo to BNTA treasurer (Gregg McElroy) and send the check to the IPCF address listed above.
This feature qualifies the BNTA to participate State Farm’s grant program.
IPCF invests monies from all of its associated members. The BNTA does not need to complete tax forms to obtain investment benefits.
state tax-exempt ID
No more sales tax. All BNTA purchases can be made with the IPCF tax-exempt ID. A considerable savings for t-shirts, balls, trophies, and etc.
Incorporation ID
The USTA (United States Tennis Association) requires that each CTA (Community Tennis Associated) become incorporated. BNTA’s affiliation with IPCF helps us meet USTA incorporation requirements.
